Irresponsible
Last night while waiting for our routine TV show, my mom flipped to channel 2 a bit earlier and we were able to catch the last 15 minutes of TV Patrol World. From a raised eyebrow in distaste to fuming mad in 15 minutes...
We caught the segment on sexy-ladies-posing-for-sexy-magazines (duh!). They showed a number of photos of these ladies in skimpy outfits... in prime time TV! Sus!
Apparently that was just a teaser to the worst news segment of the night. Later they featured a zoo that is not well maintained and the animals not taken cared of. Blah, blah, blah. They later focused their camera to a croc. They said that the caretakers are feeding the croc live animals, e.g., dogs, cats, goats. They said that based on a certain law, this is illegal. They should not feed the croc with live animals. For whatever reason, they said that they paid the caretakers P500 to show them how they feed the croc. Given the money, the caretaker obliged. They literally dropped a live goat in the croc's cage. Within seconds, the croc attacked the crying goat. The ABS-CBN crew just kept the cameras rolling. Jeez! They said that it was illegal. They even directly quoted the law. They want to illustrate a point?? I don't think so. They're just in for the "good stuff." Damn those people.

Gosh, I've seen that one too, I almost puked.wawa yung goat, grabe!
Hi Dionne. I saw that too, it was disturbing talaga. We were having dinner pa naman. No choice naman kami TFC lang meron dito...
damn those people.
hehe.
easy lang dionne, ang puso mo. ;)
hi dionne! been a lurker for quite sometime now and i can totally relate. nakita ko rin yan sa TFC and was really disgusted about it. but what's worst was (you might have seen this too) while having dinner and seeing the news about this boy from bulacan who climbed up the tower and got shot by some local councilor just because poor boy won't come down... he (shooter) acted as if he was just shooting for a tin can or something... that was totally repulsing. i really had the urge to puke what i ate.
i share the same sentiment. like pobs, i started skipping TFC for GMA na, hehehe.
hi pobs, erra, jacq, kate and anna! i really do hope media people would be more responsible. tama din kayo, i still see channel 7 as more responsible when it comes to reporting news.
anna, i'll link you up ah. =)
Oh well, what can we expect from a network who prefers sensationalism that professional broadcasting?!
For the life of me, I'll never watch even few seconds of tv patrol!
Mula sa Kapuso mong totoo, Jessica Soho (sabi ni jepjep)
haha! kapuso talaga. thanks madame jessica for passing by. =D
