Diet (Daw)
It's been almost a month now since Dionne and I started to go on a diet. Make that, we're trying to.
How do we go about this?
1. For lunch, salads of our own concoction. This is made up of greens (lettuce, romaine, spinach), cucumber, carrots, tomato, tuna and cheese. We even had nuts before, not conforming to the Atkins program. Well, we had them for additional flavor and because they had some stock that were supposed to be used for cakes. Salads without nuts is fine. Salads without cheese? No way! Have I mentioned that we only do this on weekdays? Note that Dionne is now on a 4-day work-week...
2. Reduced consumption of rice. This one's more targeted on me. Nuninu. Before all of this, we used to cook 2 gatangs of rice for dinner. Now, we (they forced me!) share only 1 gatang. What rice I can't eat, I just make up in ulam. =P
3. Fruits as merienda, instead of squid balls, chicken balls and kwek-kwek. Except for the Japanese cake with cheese. Yum!
4. No softdrinks. Except when it's part of the meal or we simply crave it. Hmm, let's change this to: Reduced consumption of softdrinks.
Not much of a diet no? Let's just see what comes out of this. =)
Just how many pounds do I have to shed to get to my ideal weight? At least 50.
Besides this diet thingie, we're both trying to grow our hair long. Here's a projection of what I'll probably look like after the diet and the hair spurt:
