UST schedule & Dinner Reception, Haay...

I took a leave of absence yesterday to be with Joven, his mom and sister. It was his sister's recognition day (she placed 4th in her grade level! congrats Mae!). I had a great time. We ate lunch at Pizza Hut (and we said we'll start dieting already.. hehe!) and watched Hitch (hilarious!).

We went to UST to show Nanay and Mae the church. For some days there was this nagging thought of inquiring at UST on their wedding schedule on Saturdays. I know it was unlike me not to ask this the first time. Joven went to the office while I took the opportunity to take shots of the church.

He came back and told me of the problem. He said that the parish only conducts weddings at 8:30am, 10am, 1:30pm and 3pm! And we were planning to have a dinner reception!

It just saddens me... It could only means two things... I have to move the reception schedule or I look for another church that will have late-afternoon weddings. What to do?! =(

hay naku friend, sometimes life talaga brings us tough choices noh? you may want to have it just before lunch, besides if you're holding your reception sa bayview parang gabi na rin dun (pag dim yung lights) hehe. Sayang naman kc if ur gonna let go of UST sentimental reasons and, I was surprised to see na ganda na pala niya...

i think the 3pm slot is just right for a dinner reception. may pictorial pa naman sa church, plus you can have time for a sunset pictorial sa bay area. pero, serve an early dinner or cocktails for the guests who are waiting.

Hey dionne! Don't feel discouraged about the time slot. Before you know it, baka nga tamang tama lang yan if you will include the pictorial time (approx.30 mins) and travel time to Roxas blvd. (3o mins). There's still time for an AVP at the reception just to kill time and wait for dinner to be served. So cheer up!
