Ready-to-Wed

Last Sunday, my sister, Daphne, invited the whole family for a lunch blowout at Market! Market!. She recently got an outstanding rating in her performance appraisal and was given a raise. Congrats Tita Dap!
Anyway, we left home at around 9:30 AM since we live in Manila and the Fort is quite far from us. We took two trains and a jeepney ride, stopping by a mini mall along the way to eat donuts for morning merienda. =) There goes the diet again…

Arriving at Market! Market!, my sister ordered a sumptuous lunch! A feast for 20 people… considering there were only 8 of us, including 2 kids! The menu consists of Pork Sisig, Sinigang na Tambakol, Shrimps, Grilled Panga ng Tuna, Grilled Squid, Baked Tahong (Sarap neto!) and my favorite… Giant Sipits ng Alimasag! Everything was ordered at Trinity except for the Sisig which came from Razon’s. I could hardly breathe but who’s complaining! Not contented with all the food, we even ordered the delicious barbecue of Ineng’s and the mouth-watering halo-halo of Razon’s to go. Grabe!

Tired from too much eating (hehe!), we decided to let the kids play at their humongous playground while two adults supervise them and the rest of us rummage for great buys at Libris Bookstore. I got a Dean Koontz hardbound for only P200. Yey! After a short walk, we finally saw RTW (Ready-to-Wed) Store at the 3rd level of the mall. One of the reasons why I want to go to Market! Market!. =) Together with my mom, sister and Joven, we looked at the different things inside the store. I found cute hair accessories (wait till my hair grow longer! =P) and interesting different gowns. That’s when I decided I don’t want a satin nor an organza gown. I saw the piña gown and it was really nice! I don’t know if we can afford it though. =)
