My First Facial

... and it's not what you're thinking. =P

Last November 2, I joined Dionne, her mom and her family at their mausoleum at the North Cemetery. No longer a holiday, we expected that there won't be a lot of people there. We were proven wrong...

On our way, Dionne showed me the graves of famous people buried there: Quintin Paredes, Arsenio Lacson, Sergio Osmeña, Claro Recto, Ramon Magsaysay, Larry Sylva (aka Pipoy). Unfortunately, we were not able to go to the most "famous" grave there... 'Got that right, FPJ's. I really wanted to have my picture taken there. Nuninu. Oh well, some other time maybe.

At the mausoleum, one could almost trace the lineage of the Juan/Militante/Madlang-awa family. Some of them were born in the 1800's! Imagine the size of the family now. No wonder Dionne doesn't even recognize some of the people there.

Wow. In a few years, we'll be adding Morales-Larin's to our family trees. =) (Note to self: family-tree project.)

We were among the first to get there. After some time, relatives began to arrive. Basta matanda, magmano ka na din. Hehe. Like Kapampangans, they spoke in a slightly louder tone. It's not they have poor hearing, they just talk that way. =)

After the prayer, we had lunch comprised of bangus sardines, adobo espa
ñol, rellenong bangus, barbeque... and rice. All this was washed down with wonderfully-tasting-yet-has-no-sugar Pepsi Max.

That afternoon, Dionne and I went to SM San Lazaro to meet my mom, sister Mae and brother Jonjon. He was looking for a new phone and Sony-Ericsson P990 was his first choice. Unfortunately, the Wireless Center there didn't have any in stock. We then went around the shops, just window shoppong. We had merienda at Burger King, with Gonuts Donuts as dessert. Sarap! What diet??

And then came my first facial...

ANG SAKIIIIT!!!

Grabe talaga. I couldn't stop my tears from falling while my faced was being rid of the blackheads and whiteheads. Nakakahiya dun sa attendant. Nuninu. It may be because it's my first. The mask was not part of the cleaning. We had it as an add-on because my face was really painful... We have up to 10 days to come back for the free checkup. Hopefully, we can visit the shop this coming weekend.

Aside: Check this out, BSB - Chinese! Hahaha!

hi joven!

gleoh hates it when he had his facial for the first time. super sakit daw kase. last nov. 1 was his fourth time and he still hates the agony he had to go through just so his face would become clean and blackheads free again. in fact, i even saw tears flowing -as in flowing kahit gano ka gentle yung derma. nakakatawa na naaawa ako when i saw him. but after, sarap naman ng feeling ng malinis ang face.
