5 Things You Don't Know About Us

Thanks for an interesting revelation Fol. =) Now, it's our turn. We added a twist in this and made it 5 things a lot of people don't know about us. So, here it goes...

1. Buzz me. Joven and I talk online even if we're both at home. It's not like we live in a huge house. Weird huh? We just like to maximize our resources. Before dinner time (or even after), we are immersed in our own computer/web life. I use the desktop in the living room, he uses his laptop in the bedroom. We end up sending messages and love notes online.
   
2. How sweet it is. We do not only love to eat, we both have a penchant for the sweet stuff. We have a Lock and Lock full of chocolates. When in the grocery we will never forget to pass by the candies and chocolate area. That accounts for our beautiful bodies. Hehe.
3. Lights out? Light on. For the two nights he was alone, Joven slept with the lights on. He has these crazy thoughts of Sadako (with much help from me of course). Scaredy cat!
   
4. Round and round. I love carnival rides even if I scream my heart out. Hehe! Joven, in turn, hates them. It'll take forever to convince him to get on a ride. Peer pressure pa kailangan. Hehe! Kaya hindi kami matuloy tuloy sa EK eh. Haay.
   
5. Bear Hugs. We always start our day with a hug. Every morning when we wake up, Joven waits at the foot of the bed, pulls me up and gives me a great big hug.

As Dionne claims, she met me. I remember how happy she was when we were introduced to each other. She had that dreamy look on her face then...

Haha! Just kidding. ;)

Had a whole new set of friends since I came from the afternoon class the previous year. Wore a Menudo shirt for the Christmas party even though I wasn't part of the Menudo dance number. Can't really remember what happened to my studies, but the following year, I got transferred to a lower section. :(

15 Years Ago
Grade school graduation! It's true that I graduated with honors... It must be because I was a favorite among the teachers. A good(-looking) boy with brains, who could act, sing, dance and clean the classroom, who wanted to be a priest. I was also the kj, noisy-listing president of the class. This is what most my classmates remember me by. Oh OK! Make that ALL of my classmates! =P

It's not true that I was smitten with G****. Well, not really. Not that I remember it that well. Nuninu. Hmm. Maybe. Maybe not. I was a kid! Hehe!

10 Years Ago
College. Got a 3 on my 1st year, 1st sem. The teacher was to blame for this one. Kamukha nya kasi si Edgar Mortiz. This was also the time I started to go back to my natural body state, as the years of CAT training have passed, but the cravings remained.

5 Years Ago
A few months before graduation, my father passed away... Wasn't able to graduate on time because of a free elective. Of all the subjects I can enroll in, I took ECE 141. Digital Communications man! Tsk tsk tsk. That summer, I took Psych 101. Was officially a college graduate. Whew!

Got my first job as programmer, with Benj as a co-worker. Resigned at the start of the following year. SML was 'formed'.

3 Years Ago
Had my appendix removed. Had 3 months off (jobless) after my previous contract expired. Last season for the SAL basketball team.

Last Year
Met Dionne again. Been very happy ever since. ;) (Decided to quit gym right before meeting her again. At least, she was still able to see my 'thin' look. Hehe!)

This Year
Travelled to Bora, Iloilo & Bacolod. Got engaged to a wonderful woman. Busy helping Dionne with wedding preps. =)

Still trying to get into shape...

Yesterday
Meetings since 7am. Extended siesta in the afternoon, before our office OB (Official Basketball).

Last Night
Got a stingy scratch from inadvertent fingernails from the game. Dionne was kind enough to treat it, despite her mom joking that I was "playing ball" with another set of long-fingernailed individuals. Pramis brad, sa game yun. ;)

Today
TGIF! I'm now officially a w@wie. =D

Tomorrow
Busy day for us. Bridal fair in the morning. Book fair in the afternoon. Drop by SM before going home to pick up tickets for Michael Buble concert.


Same plans as Dionne for the coming years. ;)

I met Joven. True! We were both in the same first grade class with Ms. Naguit. =) I don’t’ remember much of him but I remember that I was the teacher’s pet because my dad was the PTA president then. I used to have a terrible temper at home but was bullied by a classmate in school. To prove how bratty I was, my dad went to school just so he could confront the bully. BTW, the bully was a girl smaller than me. Haha!

15 Years Ago
Joven and I parted ways. Actually, we both finished elementary and didn’t care about each other then. I had a big crush on somebody while he was smitten with G****. =) He graduated with honors while I graduated sexy. Hahaha! A few months ago, we watched a video of our graduation. I couldn’t help laugh at Joven’s small voice and my big hair. =D

10 Years Ago
New set of friends, new uniform, same school, scary professors. Starting college was something else. Took my studies seriously for fear of failing in Zoology 101. And the frog! Terrible!

5 Years Ago
College was a dream. Missed friends. Broke up with my first boyfriend of 3 years. Started with my graduate studies on a very eager pace, determined to finish it in two years. I was working in the human resources drafting office policies and finishing an employee manual. I had freedom!

3 Years Ago
Boyfriend-less for the nth time (haha!). Out on gimiks with friends almost every night. Contemplating to transfer from my previous work to my current job. Was considered as one of the best RC’s in both of my previous companies.

Last Year
Genuinely happy with the man I’ll be spending the rest of my life with. A lot of celebrations with family and friends. Had a free trip to Paris.

This Year
Travelled to Bora, Iloilo & Bacolod. Got engaged to a wonderful man. Busy with wedding preps. =)

Yesterday
Finished a number of menial tasks (finally got my hands off it!). Blogged again (heaven!).

Last Night
Waited for my mignon to arrive from a meeting. A little worried because he’s working too hard. Watched my usual telenovelas. Finished a book.

Today
Blogging again! (Haha!) Anticipating the meeting later this afternoon. Contemplating on how I will finish the report being asked of me. About to start with my new book. =)

Tomorrow
Start and finish the report being asked from me. Give it to them so they’ll stop bugging me. Check on the things that we will be needing for Saturday.

Next Year
Get married. (Woohoo!) Start a new life with my mignon. (Can’t wait!) =D

5-10 Years From Now
Plan for a baby. Have one or two. =) Get ourselves more financially stable. Celebrate life!

Seven things I can do:
1) wiggle my ears and do the “cat” face at the same time. I haven’t met anyone who can do the “cat” face but surprisingly Joven can also wiggle his ears. Naks MFEO talaga!
2) interview more than 50 people a day and still have my sanity intact after.
3) organize gimiks for my friends (I always end up doing this esp. with my french classmates!)
4) be nice to everyone and they even believe that I’m nice! Haha!
5) read a book while listening to the resource person/lecturer talk (and understand every word they’re saying)
6) Have a mind organizer i.e. schedules, to-do stuff, etc. (I remember them most of the time esp. when they’re work related)
